Q: When and where is the festival?
A: February 27th and 28th 2026 and location is TBA. Sign up for our newsletter or follow us on social media to be the first to know!

Q: How much are tickets?
A: Ticket pricing will be announced soon and will include options for single-day passes, full festival passes, and VIP access.

Q: Are there age restrictions?
A: Yes. Most of our programming is intended for mature audiences (17+), and some content may include graphic violence, gore, boobs, or any combination of the three. Minors under 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Q: Is the event family-friendly at all?
A: While most content is horror-based and not suitable for young children, we may feature some retro or less intense horror films during special screenings. Any family-friendly programming will be clearly labeled in the schedule.

Q: Will there be food and drinks available?
A: Yes! We’ll have concessions and vendors on-site. Our curated vendor alley will include themed snacks, drinks, and horror-inspired goods.

Q: Are costumes allowed?
A: Absolutely! We encourage attendees to come dressed in their best horror-themed cosplay—just keep it con-friendly (no real weapons, keep it PG-13 for public spaces).

Q: Will there be merch?
A: You bet. Festival merch will be available online and in person during the event—including limited edition items only available on-site.

Q: How do I submit my film to the Jacksonville Horror Film Festival?
A: Submissions open August 1st, 2025. All submissions are handled through

Q: What types of films are you accepting?
A: We accept horror and horror-adjacent genres, including thrillers, psychological horror, creature features, supernatural stories, dark sci-fi/Fantasy, Animation, and experimental films. Shorts and features are both welcome.

Q: Do you accept AI films?
A: LOL…no.

Q: Are there any content restrictions?
A: We are open to all levels of intensity—including graphic content—so long as it serves the story and adheres to legal boundaries. Extreme content should be labeled appropriately.

Q: What’s the submission deadline?
A: Final Deadline is December 1st 2025. All other Deadlines are labeled on FilmFreeway

Q: Will my film screen in a theater?
A: Yes! Official selections will be shown on the big screen with full audio/visual support. (Venue to be announced soon.)

Q: Are there awards?
A: Yes, we’ll be recognizing outstanding films with official awards. Categories and prize details will be announced soon—cash prizes may be available depending on sponsor participation.

📦 Vendors

Q: How can I become a vendor at Jacksonville Horror Film Festival?
A: Fill out the contact form on our website and select “Vendor” from the dropdown. Be sure to include a description of your business and what you’d like to sell or showcase.

Q: What types of vendors are you looking for?
A: We’re seeking horror-themed creators, artists, authors, toy and prop makers, apparel sellers, specialty food vendors, and more. If it’s spooky, strange, or supernatural, we want it! If you’re not Spooky, we may want you anyway! So fill out the form and scream at us!

Q: Is there a vendor fee?
A: Booth fees are $100 for our inaugural year. Full details will be sent after filling out our contact form.

Q: What’s included with a vendor spot?
A: Each vendor space will include one table and two chairs. Additional tables or power access may be available upon request, subject to venue availability.

Q: Will vendors be inside or outside?
A: Inside where it’s nice and cozy! Unless you’re feral, than it’s outdoors for you!

🤝 Volunteers

Q: How can I sign up to volunteer?
A: Fill out our contact form and choose “Volunteer” Let us know your availability and any relevant experience (event work, horror knowledge, customer service, etc.).

Q: What kind of help do you need?
A: Volunteers assist with ticketing, line management, guest services, vendor check-in, panel coordination, and general event support. No experience is necessary—just enthusiasm and reliability!

Q: Will volunteers receive anything for helping out?
A: Yes! Volunteers will receive a free festival pass, a volunteer t-shirt, and our undying gratitude (and possibly snacks).

Q: What are the volunteer shift times?
A: Shifts will be scheduled in 4–6 hour blocks throughout the festival. We’ll coordinate your availability closer to the event date.

Q: How can my business sponsor the festival?

A: Sponsorship perks vary by tier, but may include:
